AM I A HERO?

I think my learning this semester is qualified as an adventure in Joseph Campbell's terms because im learning a lot of things that I wouldn't have learned in my normal classes. As Dr. Preston said, we dont learn copying off textbooks and just remembering it to pass a quiz. I'm glad that I chose this opportunity because, with the things im learning right now, I probably would have never learn it in the future.

Accepting the Call to Adventure

https://csanchezsmhs23.blogspot.com/2021/02/a-call-to-adventure.html

How I respond to a question I dont know, I just look it up on google or I ask my older sister for help. First, I just read the question and look up parts that i'll probably need and i'll go on from there. Until I can answer the question. I use safari to look up questions or something.  I use search terms like “what” “when” or “why”. I think I trust any websites that are safe, that the information is updated, or if someone well known wrote it. Sometimes articles have a comment section and I just look through there to see if what the article said was true.

A Call To Adventure

When I first read the question, I was really confused at first. My first word was "huh?" haha. I had to read it a couple of times to kinda understand it. Not really though, because I still dont know what it means. With the hint you gave, I think i'm going to do some research you know. I'll try to answer as best as I can. :D

This Weekend's Post

My key interests are dentistry and pediatric medicine. I'm really passionate about it because I really want to help teach families and kids how to stay healthy, since I used to have doctors that didn't really tell us anything. They didn't really communicate with their patients. I would like to tell my patients everything they need to know because what if they get seriously sick one day and just think its nothing.
I didn't really think that math would help me with any of my key interests, but I found out that probability, statistics, and measuring are things I will have to know.
I think applied developmental psychology and anthropology would really help me become a pediatrician. As well as communication. Courses in dentistry is also something I will take to become a dentist. I would also like to learn another language so I can tend more people.
One of my role mentors is Doc Mcstuffins. I would always watch her every morning when I was little and she inspired me to learn more about how to become a doctor, or what kind of doctors there are.
I've been trying to hide my phone before I start on my homework so I can concentrate. It worked for a while, but I stopped because my parents got mad at me whenever I miss one of their call or messages haha. I've been also trying to use my time more in selling time.
I think if I start eating healthy, exercise a good amount of time every week, and sleep well, then I can set a good example to my patients.

P.E./ Aerobics

Im still taking two of my old classes, one is aerobics. I'm still taking aerobics because I sometimes forget to exercise or i'm too lazy to exercise. And p.e. helps me continue to exercise and not break that pattern. I think this week she's having us flick a sock lol. I lowkey can't explain it but here's the video. https://youtu.be/bZrVbkDMvJQ

I have a dream

During the past week, I began taking a anatomy and physiology course. To be honest, I didn't know what to expect. I thought the course ...
